Man Camp

Sept 13th-15th, 2024

 
Man Camp is a time for just the men to come and connect with friends both old and new. Join us for a weekend full of Biblical teaching, delicious food, and time to relax around the campfire with one another. Man Camp is for groups or individuals 15 years of age or older (minors must be accompanied by an adult). Take this time to get away and study God’s Word as we enjoy fellowship and fun activities.

My name is Tom Harmon, my loving wife Joyce and I have been married for forty-eight years. We have four children, and they are all are married. Our son Ben and his wife Carmen have four children, Natalie, Levi, Trever, and Joshua. Our daughter Ellen is married to Gabriel Morse, and they have seven children, Caleb, Benjamin, Morgan Anne, Isabelle, Elise, Sophia and Evangeline. Our son Brian is married to Kimberlee and they have six children, Ellianna, Eli, Titus, Isaac, Silas, Lydia, and Ezra. Our youngest daughter Lydia is married to Michael Baker they have four children, Matthew, Alexandria, Hudson, and Emma. All our children love the Lord and we thank God for His gracious hand upon us.

I grew up in a Christian home and trusted Christ at an early age. I regret to say that most of the early years of my journey I did not walk in the ways of the Lord. In High School I enjoyed football, basketball and track. Upon graduation from High School I attended Northern Michigan University on a four year full ride athletic scholarship. I played four years of college football, and graduated with a bachelor of science degree. In 1973 I graduated from the Michigan State Police Academy and was a trooper for eleven years. In 1984 I sensed God’s call on my life to preach and resigned from the department. I pastored a small church north of Lansing for four years and have been a full time itinerant preacher speaking in churches, camps, and Bible conferences for the past thirty years. My life’s verse is Philippians 3:10

Retreat Rates Based on Housing

Price includes two nights lodging, 5 meals, all sessions and activities. 
 
Private – $295
Stay in your own private room with your own bathroom in a Private Cedars. All bedding and bath linens are provided.
 
Comfort – $240
Each room sleeps 2
Stay in one of our small Cedars units. Some Cedars units come with a small kitchenette which you can request during registration. All bedding & bath linens are provided in this package.
 
Small Group – $210
 Small Cedars Unit (Each unit sleeps 3-4)
*Must have at least 3 in your group to be offered this rate
Your group will stay together in one of our Cedars units. Rooms vary between two queen beds, one full bed and a set of bunk beds, or 4 twin beds with two being a bunk style. Some Cedars units come with a small kitchenette which you can request during registration. All bedding and bath linens are provided.
 
Family Style – $200
Large Cedars Unit (Each unit sleeps 5-7)
*Must have at least 5 people in your group to be offered this rate
 
Your group can stay in one of our large Cedars units that is complete with 3 rooms and one full bathroom. This option also includes a full kitchen and dining area for you. All bedding and bath linens are provided.
Large Cedars units consist of rooms with one full size bed, one full size bed & one bunk bed, two twin beds, and one pull out couch.
 
Dorm Style – $180
Lakeview/Hickory
Stay in one of our bunkhouses that consist of rooms with four to six twin beds in bunk style. The bathrooms are shared and consist of shower stalls and toilet stalls. You must provide your own bedding and bath linens when staying in our bunk houses.
 
Drive In – $150
Find your own lodging for the weekend and drive in for the activities. Cedar Lake Ministry Cottagers may receive this rate as well as guests who are staying in the RV park.

Early Bird Discount
$25.00 early bird discount if you are registered and paid in full by April 15, 2024
 
Group Discount
A $15 discount per person will be granted to groups of 10 or more. Each group will be assigned a code upon registering. Please use this code when paying to ensure individuals within your group will remain together. The group code assigned at registration will give members access to this discount and will be accessible until the payment deadline pertaining to the specific program the group is registered for. For more information, please call the office or fill out the Group Leader Form below. 
 
 

Refund Policy

All registrations must be paid in full 14 days prior to the event. 

A $50.00 Non-Refundable deposit is due per registration. Any cancellations will forfeit the deposit.

Cancelling a registration(s) within 45 days of an event, you are obligated to 60% of your event fee.

Cancelling a registration(s) within 14 days of an event, you are obligated to the full event fee.

In the event that Cedar Lake Ministries is not permitted to host an event due to legal reasons or restrictions imposed through Executive Order, Local Health Department Order, or any similar legal restriction or circumstance of similar effect, Cedar Lake Ministries will retain the deposit. The deposit may be transferred toward ANY future Cedar Lake Ministries Program event or guest. Additional fees paid may be requested as a refund.
