Spring Ladies Retreat 
 
Join us at Cedar Lake Ministries for our spring Ladies Retreat! Take this time to get away as we study God’s Word together and enjoy fellowship and fun activities. This is an all-inclusive getaway at the lake with comfortable accommodations, delicious meals, inspirational sessions, and many different free time activities to choose from. No kids! No cooking! No cleaning! Ladies Retreat is for groups or individuals 15 years of age or older (minors must be accompanied by an adult).

Philippians 1:6 MSG – “There has never been the slightest doubt in my mind that the God who started this great work in you would keep at it and bring it to a flourishing finish on the very day Christ Jesus appears.” 

Daily we encounter tension to dare to believe God is who He says He is and will do what He says He will do. What does it look like to walk out our faith in the middle of heartache, loss, or betrayal? How do we renew our hope in the Lord’s power, grace and unexpected strength when life doesn’t turn out as we thought it would? Be encouraged to break through roadblocks to daring faith, to step out when you can’t see, and to stay the course when disappointment stares you in the face. For this is when faith dares.

Terri McFarland Umlauf

Speaker –  Terri McFarland Umlauf
 
As a Bible teacher, author, Christian recording artist, worship leader, and conference speaker, Terri McFarland Umlauf shares the hope found in Jesus. She regularly partners with Under the Fig Tree Ministries to facilitate tours to the Middle East and teams up with the Fellowship of Christian Athletes in a variety of capacities. As a former collegiate and international athlete and coach, Terri delights in the opportunity to influence those willing to chase after Jesus with the passion of an athlete pursuing their sport. Through her own story of heartbreaking loss and disappointment, Terri dares to hold on to Jesus Christ, believing in every situation, the beauty of His faithfulness will be revealed.
 
Worship Weekend 1 – Kelli Bonomo
 
Raised an hour south of Chicago, and where she still calls “home”, Kelli lives with her husband Mike, and their 3-rambunctious dogs, Mia, Baxter and Lucy. Kelli has worn many hats in her professional and personal life; hairdresser, personal trainer, nutritionist, author, event promoter and Food Truck owner, just to name a few, however, none of those places have fulfilled her heart as much as being a wife, a mom and full time worship leader. Kelli’s desire is to fully embrace God’s purpose and calling over her life. To do what she truly believes He has called her to do, share the unfailing love of Jesus Christ and His Grace through music, song, and ministry. Through her own storms of life she has learned to Trust, Hope and Believe that Gods Plans are always greater than ours, holding us the closest through our darkest times. She believes there truly is nothing more powerful than the Holy Spirit working His way through a room, transforming hearts, minds and lives. Kelli shares her love for Christ and His overflow in her own life, through her ministry of music.
 

Worship Weekend 2 – Gloria Rivera
Psalm 104:33 I will sing to the Lord all my life; I will sing praise to my God as long as I live. With a heart for worship and passionate gratitude for praise, Gloria Rivera-Welsch began lifting up the Lord in worship during her childhood at church. Now a professional singer, worship leader and third-grade elementary teacher, she is able to use her ministry to relate to the public, meeting them where they are for prayer and worship in public settings. After her divorce 9 years ago, her path was cleared to become the worship leader she always dreamed of becoming. She now sings at various churches. This also led to hundreds of bookings as a singer over the last 4 years, which helped as she was a single mother, blessing her with God’s provision for her family’s needs. Sharing humility and gratitude as well as the joy and love of Christ are Gloria’s cornerstone principles. She is wife to Steven, a mom to 6 children of a beautifully blended family, and a continual worship leader at her home church, Momentum Church in Crown Point, IN.

Retreat Rates Based on Housing

Price includes two nights’ lodging, 5 meals, all sessions and activities. 
 
Private – $295
Stay in your own private room with your own bathroom in either our Rest-A-While Lodge or a Private Cedars. All bedding and bath linens are provided.
 
Comfort – $240
Each room sleeps 2
Stay in one of our small Cedars units or a Rest-A-While Lodge room. All bedding & bath linens are provided in this package.
 
Small Group – $210
Rest-A-While Room or Small Cedars Unit (Each unit sleeps 3-4)
Your group will stay together in one of our Cedars units or a Rest-A-While Room. Rooms vary between two queen beds, one full bed and a set of bunk beds, or 4 twin beds with two being a bunk style. All bedding and bath linens are provided. 
 
Family Style – $200
Large Cedars Unit (Each unit sleeps 5-8)

*Must have at least 5 people in your group to be offered this rate

Your group can stay all together in one of our large Cedars units that is complete with three rooms and one full bathroom. This option also includes a full kitchen and dining area for you. All bedding and bath linens are provided. 
Large Cedars units consist of rooms with one full size bed, one full size bed & one bunk bed, two twin beds, and one pull out couch.
 
Dorm Style – $180
Each room sleeps 4-6
Stay in one of our bunkhouses that consist of rooms with four to six twin beds in bunk style. The bathrooms are shared and consist of shower stalls and toilet stalls. You must provide your own bedding and bath linens when staying in our bunk houses. 
 
Drive In – $150
Find your own lodging for the weekend and drive in for the activities. Cedar Lake Ministry Cottagers may receive this rate as well as guests who are staying in the RV park. 
 
 
 
 
 
Our desire is that no individual misses out on a Ladies Retreat experience due to financial reasons. Through the generosity of thoughtful and caring partners, financial assistance may be available for you to attend Ladies Retreat at Cedar Lake Ministries.

Early Bird Discount
$25 early bird discount if you are registered and paid in full by December 1, 2023
 
Group Discount

A $15 discount per person will be granted to groups of 10 or more. Each group will be assigned a code upon registering. Please use this code when paying to ensure individuals within your group will remain together. The group code assigned at registration will give members access to this discount and will be accessible until the payment deadline pertaining to the specific program the group is registered for. For more information, please call the office or fill out the Group Leader Form below.  

 
 

Refund Policy

All registrations must be paid in full 14 days prior to the event.

A $50.00 Non-Refundable deposit is due per registration. Any cancellations will forfeit the deposit.

Cancelling a registration(s) within 45 days of an event, you are obligated to 60% of your event fee.

Cancelling a registration(s) within 14 days of an event, you are obligated to the full event fee.

In the event that Cedar Lake Ministries is not permitted to host an event due to legal reasons or restrictions imposed through Executive Order, Local Health Department Order, or any similar legal restriction or circumstance of similar effect, Cedar Lake Ministries will retain the deposit. The deposit may be transferred toward ANY future Cedar Lake Ministries Program event or guest. Additional fees paid may be requested as a refund. In all other circumstances, Cedar Lake Ministries’ cancellation policy outlined above will apply.
